Knitted Slippers Puzzle

I found a pattern for felted slippers that looked fun to make. This is the first slipper so far. Now I have to sew seams in a way that is a bit like a puzzle, making folds and matching certain square edges to other square edges. The diagram is a bit confusing to me but, hopefully, I will end up with a slipper.
