Completed Knitting of Hat

For a while I thought maybe the hat would turn out too small, but it came out fine. The only thing I'd do differently with this pattern next time would be to knit less rows of ribbing. The hat is shown here with ribbing folded over twice because there was so much of it. But it does make for extra warm and toasty ears.

Just before I completed the crown of the hat, I noticed a mistake in a decrease about four rows down. I considered leaving it but then decided to tink back and fix it. So with that experience, my tinking skill has greatly improved!

Great hat! I love to make hats--and since my 7 yo loves to wear them, I'll never be bored!

Thanks, Tamara! How wonderful that your 7yo loves to wear the hats you make! It sure does feel nice to see completed projects being worn!
