I finally got around to finishing the socks. I'm very happy with how they turned out. The pattern has very clear instructions, and I'll probably be using it again, making one of the other cuff variations.
Now I've started knitting slippers. The worsted weight yarn and large needles I'm using feel strange after using the small DPNs.
Thank you, Allena. :-) I've noticed a big difference; these are much warmer than my regular store-bought socks! They feel so cozy too. I really want to make more now.
I try to post links when I can, but I don't have one for this particular pattern. I bought the pattern at a local yarn store. Your yarn store could probably order it for you if they don't have it. It includes six nice looking pattern variations, so I thought it was a good deal too. :)
Sorry to be such a slow-poke here, but Dale, your socks look fabulous!! I love the color!! Great job :) I'm working on a pair for hubby and I'm using 2 sets of dpns this time. It's amazing how much faster it goes when I'm not beset by Second Sock Syndrome!

Where is the pattern for the socks? I feel like a dummy because I can't find the link. ha ha.
Thanks.
